The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a results-oriented Subprime Sales Consultantfor our Kamloops Kia, locationin Kamloops, British Columbia.

In the position of Subprime Sales Consultant, reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the Subprime Sale Department strategies and will be required to be an active force in driving sales through exceptional customer service and selling skills.

You will be accountable for:

  • Setting sales goals, tracking progress, and leading the team to achieve and exceed those quotas.
  • Forecasting sales for upcoming months and quarters.
  • Managing a CRM platform to retain customers and seek new prospective sales.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on the satisfaction of all customers.
  • Compiling regular reports for dealership management to review.
  • Communicating and maintaining relations with all lenders.
  • Ensuring all deals are compliant with provincial and federal regulations.
  • Making over 100+ calls per day to potential buyers.
  • Building a rapport with potential customers to improve the possibility of a sale in the future.
  • Collaborating with team members to reach sales targets.
  • Demonstrating the vehicle features with the customers.
  • Assisting customers with completing the relevant paperwork required for a successful sale to be processed.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including sales reports, call logs and other documentation.
  • Building and maintaining ongoing awareness of new products and services.
  • Using customer relation management (CRM) software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintaining professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Your High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • A valid Driver’s license and clean Driver’s abstract.
  • A valid VSA license or are able to obtain your VSA license.
  • The ability to work both in a team environment and on your own.

In this Monday to Friday position, you can look forward to industry-leading training, a rewarding commission pay plan structure of $50,000 to $70,000 per year with a minimum guarantee of $3,000, paid vacation, and extended health benefits.

Experience:

  • automotive sales: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • VSA (preferred)
  • Driver's Licence (required)
