Synergy Florida is seeking a Sales Manager who will lead, manage, mentor, coach, and motivate the sales team in developing skills to ensure a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales targets and KPIs are being met.
Headquartered in Tampa, with offices in Orlando and Jacksonville, we have a robust Builders Program; and provide new Home-owners with quality home technologies, designing comprehensive integration of structured wiring, home theater media, distributed AV, home control, landscape and lighting control, security, and other state-of-the-art systems. The Sales Manager will be responsible for growing existing business year-over-year, identifying, hiring, and developing new talent, and ways to promote our business through marketing and sales offerings.
Expectations for this role include; but are not limited to:
- Collect and analyze sales statistics to determine effective sales strategies
- Manage and evaluate Sales Staff performance by developing strategies for meeting sales goals
- Assign Sales Territories and set Sales Quotas
- Plan and coordinate training programs for sales staff
- Develop plans to acquire new customers through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and business-to-business marketing
- Formulate Sales-projections, and determine the profitability of products and services
- Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of sales efforts
- Works closely with the Director of Business Development including but not limited to Builder Packages, Awarded Communities, Marketing strategies, etc.
- Attend industry-related events and trade-shows
- Ability to run a highly successful sales team
- Effectively communicate with in-house departments (Construction, Purchasing, AV, Security, & Outdoor Living)
Ideal Experience and Qualifications for this Position:
- Skills: Leadership Development; Time Management; Asset Management; Closing Skills; Excellent Customer Service (internal & external)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing a Sales Team
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience working with Home Automation, Control Systems, Home Theater, Lighting and Security Systems
- Intermediate-to-Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications
- Intermediate-to-Advanced Knowledge of Alarm.com , D-Toolz , Salez-Toolz , and Visio
- Experience working with TigerPaw highly desired
- Availability to work and travel as business requires to Jacksonville and Orlando Branch Offices
Minimum Employment Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field highly desired
- Successful Completion of pre-employment Background Check, including Drug Screen
- Valid Florida Driver's License (or the ability to obtain one within 14 days of employment); and have maintained a Motor-vehicle Record within acceptable limits as prescribed by Synergy Florida
