Sagis Diagnostics is an entirely physician-led sub-specialty pathology group supported by a CAP-accredited Histology lab located in the heart of Houston, Texas. Led by a team of board-certified pathologists, our lab is at the forefront of diagnostic science. We offer the highest quality services to physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, and hospitals.

- Meet and exceed territory volume growth objectives by developing new accounts and increasing business in existing accounts
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key physicians and office staff
- Deliver on sales goals while respecting expense budgets
- Demonstrate strategic business acumen by routinely updating management on sales progress and any potential losses
- Utilize savvy business prospecting techniques, networking, and other lead-generation tools to establish new customers
- Develop and manage strong sustainable relationships with customer base
- Provide regular updates to VP on prospects, pipeline, and monthly volume forecasts
- Forge a strong partnership with the Territory Manager/VP for the territory and work as a team to achieve seamless interaction with customers from sign-up to long-term support and business growth
- Attend local and national conferences and tradeshows as assigned, to represent products and services, generate leads and interact with customers
- Arrange and host peer-to-peer educational programs, providing physicians with a forum to learn about services
- Adhere to all HIPAA confidentiality requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university required
- Prior experience in pain management sales is desirable
- Existing clinical contacts is desirable
- Able to maintain a home office
- Clean driving record
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral, communication skills
- Polished presentation skills
- Organizational skills and prior experience managing a large geographic territory
- Effective cold calling skills and strong closing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
- Proficient in contact management software
- Will require the ability to work both independently and also as part of a team
- Willingness to travel extensively, including overnights during the week
- Ability to work evenings, late evenings, and weekends on an occasional basis
- Ability to understand the clinical practice environment and work effectively with clinic staff
- Proven organizational and time/territory management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to persistent follow-up
- High energy level and ability to develop sales rapidly
- Uncompromising ethics and integrity
- Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of insurance and reimbursement issues
- Ability to understand and present clinical/technical product information
- Demonstrated track record of continued progressive sales growth
