Job Title: IS/CS Representative
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated Inside Sales Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the needs of our house accounts, as well as supporting outside sales efforts. You will work closely with customers to ensure they receive the highest level of customer service and technical support. The ideal candidate should have experience in customer service, technical support, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handling customer inquiries: Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat to provide information about products, prices, availability, and services.
2. Sales support: Assisting customers with placing orders, processing payments, and providing product recommendations based on their specific needs and preferences. Working closely with outside sales representatives to support customers, including providing analytics to identify new sales opportunities.
3. Building strong customer relationships: Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty. This involves potentially visiting local customers, understanding their requirements, resolving complaints, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
4. Upselling and cross-selling: Identifying opportunities and conducting outbound sales activities to existing and potential house accounts, including upselling and cross-selling products and services in order to maximize sales and revenue.
5. Order management: Managing customer orders from placement to fulfillment, including monitoring order status and E-commerce customer portals ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
6. Providing product knowledge: Developing a comprehensive understanding of the company's products and staying up to date with changes or new offerings. This enables the Inside Sales/ Customer Service Technical Representative to effectively educate customers about product features, benefits, and usage.
7. Handling customer returns and exchanges: Assisting customers with the return or exchange process, including determining eligibility, issuing return authorizations, and processing any necessary refunds or replacements.
8. Maintaining accurate records: Documenting all customer interactions, inquiries, and transactions in the company's CRM or other relevant systems. This ensures accurate and up-to-date customer information and enables effective follow-up.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Overall, the Inside Sales/ Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting customer satisfaction, and driving sales growth for the company.
Qualifications:
Education, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field desired.
Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of 3+years of proven sales/customer service experience.
· Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
· Proficiency with Syteline, Microsoft applications, keyboard skills and sales entry software an asset.
· Occasional local travel to support customers as well as national tradeshows events.
Physical Demand and Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment and requires prolonged sitting. Some stooping, bending, and kneeling may be necessary. Lifting to 50 pounds may be required.
