Positive Athlete, INC. (positiveathlete.org) is an emerging national brand that has been celebrating and developing high-school student-athletes in for over a decade. Our mission is simple yet powerful: “to encourage young people to find their own value outside of their athletic ability to positively impact and change the culture of the world around them.” We’re looking for passionate individuals to help us lead the charge as we embark on an exciting national scaling project to reach athletes in every state. This expansion will super-charge our social impact, and help us become the first for-profit company to build a national network of high school student-athletes.
Role Overview:
Are you driven by the challenge of building something new? Does your entrepreneurial spirit thrive in a fast-growing environment? If so, Positive Athlete is seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Director, Mountain/CO Market Lead to drive our efforts in the Denver Metropolitan Area and beyond.
In this role, you’ll spearhead the expansion of Positive Athlete in the Mountain region, initially focusing on the Colorado market and expanding into neighboring markets (AZ, NV, UT, NM, Big Sky). Your mission: grow school involvement in our recognition and development programs while driving revenue through the sale of corporate partnerships and sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee Positive Athlete operations across the Mountain Region, starting with the Colorado market.

  • Drive school engagement by building relationships with high schools and community partners.

  • Generate revenue through the sale of corporate sponsorships and partnerships.

  • Travel within your region to meet with schools, corporate partners, and community stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute growth strategies.

  • Plan recognition events for local award and scholarship winners.

Qualifications:

  • High-character and strong intent that is aligned with the Positive Athlete mission.

  • Proven experience in sales and partnership development.

  • Passion for working with youth sports and educational programs.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently within Colorado Market

  • Ability to travel as necessary within the Mountain region (AZ, NV, UT, NM, Big Sky).

Preferred Attributes:

  • Sponsorship/Partnership sales experience in the Denver Metro Area

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sport Management or related field

  • Former high school athlete or experience in high school sports

  • Event planning experience

Compensation Information
Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000 Plus Commission Bonus on Sales Over Yearly Goals
