Hotel Area Sales Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence by selling our hotels in Central, NY, and the North Country, NY. We partner with great brands such as Hilton, Marriott, IHG, and Best Western. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, customer service, and technical sales, with a proven track record of success in territory sales. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage relationships with clients while also leading the team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
This position requires the candidate to work onsite at a designated hotel office.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional targets and maximize revenue.
- Manage and mentor the sales team, providing guidance on lead generation, upselling, and closing techniques.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities within the region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
Skills
- Proven experience in sales management with a focus on territory sales.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficiency in using software tools for sales tracking and reporting.
- Excellent understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability in lead generation and converting prospects into loyal customers.
- Experience in technical sales is a plus, particularly for complex products or services.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to conduct engaging product demos.
- Ability to identify upselling opportunities to enhance customer value.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
