Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Calian Digital Solutions. The Account Executives play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and effectively promoting our portfolio of digital solutions and services.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or market segments.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand customer needs, pain points, and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and delivery, to develop tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase our digital solutions and value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, consistently driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM (HubSpot) software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a proven track record of success in winning RFPs, preferably in the healthcare industry with technology or digital solutions expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including healthcare delivery systems, payer organizations, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate value propositions and influence decision-makers.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding targets.
  • Experience using CRM software (HubSpot) and other sales productivity tools preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Additional Requirements

Contract Management Duties:

  • Establishes good customer relationships and understands their current and developing requirements
  • Responds in timely fashion to customer questions and inquiries in courteous and professional manner
  • Monitors customer satisfaction and project progress according to plan/SOW/commitments
  • Maintains and/or improves gross margin against established targets
  • Seeks additional revenue opportunities on existing contracts
  • Assumes accountability for contract compliance and achievement of revenue and gross margin goals, as well as tracking customer and workforce satisfaction levels

General Support:

  • Supports and contributes to the Health Business Unit team, as required
  • Supports and contributes to quarterly forecasts and annual budget development
  • Interacts with HR/Payroll and Divisional Services (Business Administration, Finance, etc.) to facilitate information flow
  • A clear sense of urgency to achieve results. A “can-do”, “let’s make it happen” attitude and a focus on a positive customer experience
  • Creative ability to identify potential new business
  • A record of success closing large opportunities and a strong desire to succeed
  • Interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others
  • Present a professional, positive image that reflects well on the organization
  • Flexibility and calmness in dealing with managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with a track record of creativity and innovation in problem solving
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives autonomously
  • Ability to think proactively, critically and independently to make good business decisions
