Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative
SURE-FOOT INDUSTRIES CORP. is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and skilled candidate to join our sales, marketing, and customer response team. Our vision for this inside sales and customer service representative is to offer the highest level of customer interaction in our industry. We are on the hunt for an Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to help fuel our continuous growth.
Our Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the Director of Sales and Administration to identify and convert new customers, grow existing accounts, and meet (or exceed) quarterly sales goals. Your primary responsibilities will be as follows:
1. CONTACT, QUALIFY, AND MANAGE IN-BOUND LEADS
The Inside Sales Representative will contact lead inquiries to better understand their project, identify their needs, and help guide customers into products suited for their application. Sales inquiries and other marketing-generated leads come from a variety of sources that need to be regularly monitored (i.e. email, phone inquiries, advertising campaigns, web forms, event marketing, etc.). Timely responses, coupled with deep product knowledge, account research and a clear understanding of the customers environment to assist with quick a response and an appropriate engagement strategy.
Regular maintenance of our CRM database will be required to ensure no incomplete or redundant data exists. Additional tasks may include updating the type of information we collect and report. This position will also be responsible for preparing sample kits to be distributed based on lead strategy.
2. SELF-GENERATED, RESEARCH AND OUTBOUND PROSPECTING
The ISR will be responsible for current key account maintenance and growth. This individual must undertake self-directed research on the industry to uncover new leads for prospecting and possible industries to branch out to through market share.
3. CUSTOMER RESPONSE REPRESENTATIVE
Part of the Inside Sales position will be engaging with our customer base. You will be responsible for fielding questions regarding products, services, invoicing, inventory, shipping dates, and quote preparation. The ISR will also routinely contact our current customers to gain insight for future growth and upcoming projects. Success in this position requires a passion for talking with people, solving problems, and identifying opportunities.
4. TASK ORIENTATED AND CUSTOMER FOCUS
Along with a new leads the Inside Sales Representative will want to build relationships with current customers by offering new products, ensuring customers satisfaction and effectively articulate the value proposition of our products.
4. GENERAL OFFICE and ERP MANAGEMENT
- Provide a positive and informative customer experience
- Process Credit Applications
- Set-up new customers
- Manage Customers Notes
- Create new customer files as needed
- New Customer follow up
- Enter Sales Orders
- Send Acknowledgements for entered orders
- Generate proper documentation for Sales Orders including PO’s & Pack Lists
- EDI
- Manage document flow
- Import PO’s, Export Invoices
- Process incoming orders
- Manage Accounts Receivable
- Review Account Status and help precipitate future collaboration
- Investigate and resolve receivable disputes
Knowledge of WORD and EXCEL is a must
Using our existing database to identify prospects while reviewing industry publications to increase overall industry knowledge.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Our next Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative is a sharp and articulate person who is 100% comfortable to spend most of their day communicating. Both written and verbal communication is necessary as much of the communication will be via the phone. You will need to be a sponge, soaking up knowledge from experienced Industry Professionals with an eye towards growing our business.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) years inside sales experience or customer service background
- Two (2) experience working with ERP & CRM systems
- Proficient with EXCEL & WORD, willingness to learn creative programs is required
- Organization and time management skills a must
- Ability to take on a leadership role
- Ability to adapt quickly to new and varied job tasks
- Incredible attention to detail, to ensure accurate use of internal systems and information
- A proven track record in a role supporting sales and/or marketing teams
- Outstanding communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
