Meridian Adhesives Group is a rapidly growing full service global adhesive solutions provider, specializing in adhesive technologies used in electronics, industrial, and infrastructure applications. Job Summary

The Inside Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for maintaining, nurturing, and expanding relationships with key clients based out of our Billerica, Massachusetts facility. The KAM will work in close association with various business departments and maintain and develop the strategic relationships with the Key Accounts. The KAM will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and implement strategies for large organizations. Maintain a healthy pipeline of
    business growth opportunities for new and existing customers. Participate in trade shows,
    workshops, and seminars.
  • Demonstrate industry knowledge and identify key stakeholders and business drivers for an
    organization. Understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes.
  • Clearly articulate the strength and value of our adhesive as it relates to the customer. Consistently
    conduct research and pursue professional development to anticipate customer needs.
  • Successfully execute the account management and sales processes for all opportunities. Use
    consultative selling skills to understand the needs and business challenges of customers. Ability to
    articulate business value to key stakeholders.
  • Leverage your knowledge when working with cross-functional and divisional teams to define and
    execute strategies. Be motivated and resourceful and take initiative to resolve issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of customer service/support, preferably in an adhesive manufacturing environment.
  • Experience creating partnerships, and establishing advocacy with customers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the manufacturing industry and the ability to translate this into
    solutions for customers
  • Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s or master’s in business administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles
  • Ability to travel to Key Accounts based on need and availability

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
