Pay: $70,000 - $80,000/year + a benefits package including 401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 8 Paid Holidays, and Sick Time
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break)
Overview: Our client, a building materials/manufacturing company located in Castle Rock, is seeking an Inside Sales Manager. This position is responsible for providing leadership and management to a growing team of 2. To be successful in this position, you must be highly self motivated, a leader, data-based decision maker, and provide a high level of customer service. It is very important the Inside Sales Manager has previous experience in a sales distribution and manufacturing environment. This is 100% onsite in Castle Rock and the work environment is both an office and warehouse setting.
Duties:
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to assure that all customer facing associates succeed in meeting individual performance goals as well as team goals
- Accurately manage order processing into ERP system to include pricing, terms of sale, product, quantity, shipping, special instructions, etc
- Coordinate and manage deliveries, collaborating closely with warehouse to ensure timely and accurate shipments
- Maintain system accuracy on sales orders to reflect realistic ship dates
- Manage customer files to include accurate pricing, payment terms & contact information
- Partners with internal supply chain departments to manage existing customer orders and ensure their expectations are met
- Completes all product returns/warranties and invoice adjustments in a timely manner ensuring accurate reason codes are applied and appropriate forms are completed in compliance policy
- Maintains daily contact with Sales Representatives regarding pricing inquires, discrepancies, and status updates
- Maintains accurate price books and initiates all price increases to ensure they are implemented in the invoicing system as assigned
- Report competitive activities to Sales team
- Resolve customer conflicts and handle escalation procedures as needed
- Ensure coverage for customer service area including showroom by managing team schedules
- Attend Management meetings as directed
- Generate and distribute Flash and Bookings reports daily
- Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Subject Matter Expert on all products, codes and systems
- Process client payments
- Analyze customer feedback and sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth
Requirements:
- High School diploma required (college degree preferred)
- 5 + years' of experience in inside sales and customer service management, preferably in a distribution company
- 2 + years supervisory/management or lead experience preferred
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with navigating new software
- Prior experience working in an ERP system
