Account Manager – Packaging and Converting
Remote - candidate will be based in Northern California
The Account Manager is expected to grow and retain H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in key market segments while achieving profit sales targets. This is a critical position on H.B. Fuller's Packaging and Converting team.
The ideal candidate will be based in Northern California and cover the territory of Northern California, Northern Nevada & Utah with bulk of territory in Northern California.
The Account Manager position is expected to retain and grow H.B. Fuller's market share and customer base in key market segments (Food & Beverage Packaging, Paper Converting, Field Packaging) while achieving profit & sales targets. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that has been growing through new product innovations delivering value to large customers in the packaging and paper markets.
The Account Manager will be involved in a variety of activities including, but not limited to:
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate and influence at all levels
- Possess technical competence and be able to manage demonstrations and technical problem-solving
- Focus on larger opportunities, optimizing price and profitability
- Be accountable for delivering results with a strong business acumen
- Demonstrate competency to work safely within various manufacturing plant environments and drive process improvement initiatives.
This person will spend approximately 70% of time in account management and 30% in new business development activity
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a technical, chemistry, mechanical, business or marketing discipline
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience
- Ability to manage existing accounts and develop new business
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

Pay: $74,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
