VFO CS Facility Services
This position is a part of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA).
This position has a term from April 29, 2024 - August 31, 2024. The hours of work are 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
Location - This role is in-person with onsite work at North Campus and Campus Saint-Jean Edmonton.

Working for the Department
Facilities Services is accountable to ensure planning and resourcing for the delivery of maintenance, custodial and inspection services to Campus Services’ physical assets, comprising approximately 60 buildings with a total area in excess of 160,000 square meters.
Position
Under the supervision of the Facilities Service Maintenance Foreman, the Painter's Assistant performs a variety of indoor and outdoor painting and paint touch-ups.
Duties
- Responsible for painting and paint touch-ups
- Performs other related work such as moving furniture, removing baseboards and basic cleaning as required
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Similar work experience and mechanical aptitude is considered an asset
- Self-motivated and ability to work under minimal supervision
