Position Summary:
Join HondoGO's dynamic team where you'll not only be driving our sales initiatives but also help leading, mentoring, and building a high-performing sales team. In this player-coach role, you will actively participate in selling and identifying new site host partners while simultaneously recruiting, coaching, and managing a team of sales people. The role will be a key part of accelerating our mission to expand HondoGO's nationwide EV fast charging network, helping to make electric vehicle charging accessible, sustainable, and economically beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by Example: Actively participate in prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals with new site host partners to help expand HondoGO's footprint.
- Team Recruitment & Development: Recruit top-tier sales talent, develop and coach them to meet individual and team goals, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales strategies to reach revenue goals, while adjusting to market conditions and the specific needs of prospective partners.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Serve as a mentor and leader for your team, providing training and guidance on sales best practices, market knowledge, and CRM utilization.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance metrics, and ensure the team meets individual and collective goals through data-driven decision-making.
- Sales Administration: Manage and track sales activities, including pipeline management, CRM data entry, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will be a goal-driven, self-starter with strong leadership abilities, capable of managing their own sales pipeline while also guiding and growing a sales team. You’ll thrive in our fast-paced environment and have a passion for being a part of a transformative, high-growth company.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a player-coach role, with the ability to balance personal sales activity and team leadership.
- Demonstrated success in business development, lead generation, and building relationships.
- Ability to effectively recruit, train, and manage a sales team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory and technical discussions.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a startup environment.
Preferred but not required
· Prior sales or call center experience
· Bachelor’s Degree
