The Home Care division of English Rose is experiencing tremendous growth, primarily through word of mouth. The primary role of the Strategic Growth Manager is to build upon this momentum by expanding English Rose brand awareness and increasing the number of qualified inbound inquiries through marketing initiatives, community engagement, and relationship building with prospective clients and client influencers / referral sources.

Home Care - Rochester
English Rose is expanding the geographic reach of its Home Care services to Rochester, Minnesota and the surrounding area. To this end, the company will hire a full-time employee to launch and operate the Rochester business. The Strategic Growth Manager will ensure that Rochester marketing activities are coordinated with Twin Cities efforts and, on a limited basis, directly support those efforts.

Although Home Care is the primary focus of the Strategic Growth Manager, English Rose services are not mutually exclusive. As follows, the efforts of the Strategic Growth Manager will expand brand awareness of, and increase inbound inquiries for, the English Rose Suites.


The Strategic Growth Manager role is a full-time position reporting to the Executive Director and benefitting from ongoing coaching and support from a Marketing Consultant. While he/she will spend some hours each week at the company’s home office in downtown Hopkins, much time will be in pursuit of making contacts in the community developing relationships and building brand awareness that drive revenue growth. Initial responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Becoming conversant in the English Rose service offering and the unique qualities that set it apart from other care providers
  • Working closely with the English Rose Marketing Consultant to formalize and implement multilayered approach to growing the business including, but not limited to, creative marketing and outreach strategies, a compelling English Rose “elevator pitch”, target lists, cold calls, personal letters, dissemination of materials, follow up on leads, tabling at events, public speaking, long-term stewardship plans for key referral sources, etc.
  • Partnering with the English Rose Executive Director and other internal stakeholders (e.g., Director of Home Care, Admission Director) to develop a coordinated process by which to build brand equity and field new inquiries

  • Client-Centric Mindset: A deep understanding of ER’s menu of services, client needs, reciprocal networking, and the ability to interpret and respond to questions and concerns in a way that inspires confidence in working with ER
  • Problem-Solving: Facility for identifying issues and quickly developing and communicating effective solutions that drive satisfaction and growth
  • Technical Aptitude: A solid understanding of the role of home healthcare, the skills required, and services offered to assist clients effectively
  • Project Management: Proficiency in managing projects that drive growth strategies
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to think strategically about client growth, aligning efforts with business objectives.
  • Record Keeping: Planful and meticulous scheduling, follow up, cultivation and stewardship documentation, and responsibility fulfillment. Full adherence to company’s CRM (Customer Relationships Management) software protocols
  • Exceptional Work Ethic: Drive to fulfill responsibilities, meet metrics and objectives, be transparent, honest, ethical, and committed to your vital role in growing and serving client base
  • Self-Starter and Quick-Starter: Proactive and adept and recognizing new opportunities and leveraging them as they present themselves, or as you create them
  • Sales and Negotiation: Skilled in identifying opportunities for growth and closing deals
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in fast-changing environments and adapt to client or business needs
  • Collaboration: Ability to work well with sales, marketing, supervisory, family, and client teams
  • Time management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Experience: Relevant experience in sales and marketing preferred

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $65,000-$75,000 (depending on experience/qualifications)
  • Bonus: Up to 50% of base based on performance
  • Paid Time Off: 3 weeks (120 Hours) per year
