Job Description

Job Overview:

The Director of Sales and Operations at All Valley Garage Doors will manage and oversee the sales operations for the organization. They will conduct research on the competition and supply and demand costs to determine appropriate pricing structure and strategy. Responsible for developing and cultivating relationships with vendor partners, builders, and clients. The role involves recruiting, hiring, and overseeing the training of personnel, as well as mentoring and coaching individuals in leadership positions. The DSO will collaborate closely with the CEO to realize the company’s vision, identify optimal sales solutions, and lead initiatives to protect and increase the bottom line. The DSO will contribute to the long-term vision of All Valley Garage Doors, aiming to become the number one Garage Door company in our area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and operation targets.
  • Create and communicate sales goals and ensure ownership is informed on the progress of those goals.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Effectively communicate value propositions through presentations and proposals.
  • Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in field and office operations, cost accounting, inventory management, and operational efficiency by auditing jobs for pictures, notes, hours, materials used, and code compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to drive the sales and operational process from start to finish
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of services and products
  • Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Understanding of how to position products against competitors

Job Type: Full-time

Ability to Commute:

  • Garden City, ID 83714 (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
