Location: The candidate must be based in Lexington, KY; Louisville, KY; Cincinnati, OH; St. Louis, MO; or Chattanooga, TN, and be able to work from one of these locations daily. The position also requires travel within the assigned territory of these cities. (Hybrid-work options available).

Position Summary:

As a Sales Consultant at NetGain Technologies, you are a vital part of our mission to empower local small-and-medium businesses with reliable IT services and cybersecurity solutions. You will be responsible for becoming familiar with NetGain’s services and solutions, with the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. Your daily activities will be prospecting for new business (logos), setting appointments, attending sales meetings, becoming the clients’ trusted advisor, proposal writing, and closing deals that make a difference. You will also leverage your IT knowledge and skills to provide tailored solutions that meet the specific needs and goals of each client. You will be supported by our marketing and client success team, as well as provided with a CRM system to track and document your progress and achievements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect for new business opportunities, attend networking events, and set appointments to drive growth.
  • Participate in sales meetings and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to potential and existing clients, managing and exceeding their expectations through proactive communication and service.
  • Craft compelling proposals, collaborate across departments on client needs, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Stay informed about IT industry trends and best practices to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Engage in marketing and social media initiatives to enhance brand visibility and reach, including optimizing your social media profiles according to NetGain’s marketing team’s recommendations.
  • Meticulously document all activities and follow-ups in NetGain’s CRM system for accurate record-keeping.
  • Maintain a high level of activity to consistently meet Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) quotas.
  • Seek timely assistance when needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to clients and engage in meaningful dialogue.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using MS Office Suite and familiar with CRM systems for documentation and tracking.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of IT industry trends and best practices to provide insightful recommendations to clients.
  • Self-Motivation and Initiative: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and seek assistance when needed to ensure successful outcomes.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
