The Role:
A great opportunity to lead a newly created Pharmacy and Growth Team - this is a key Senior Sales role in the PZ Cussons business and as such it will be accountable for driving growth and providing leadership across the wider PZ Cussons Commercial team and business.
You will report to the Sales Director who will directly coach and mentor your growth in this role. If you are a commercially talented, driven and supportive Senior Sales leader - looking for an organisation that has culture and team at its heart, then this is the role for you!
Specifically, this role will:
  • Direct and develop the strategic relationship between the Pharmacy and Growth customer base and PZ Cussons across all functions of the PZC business
  • Manage the total business result via implementation of joint growth initiatives, supply chain development and strong financial management
  • Motivate, coach and develop the Account Management team to implement strategic and tactical plans within the accounts at point of purchase.
  • Play a broad leadership role in the Sales Team by driving a culture of delivery of overall functional objectives forming a key part of the SLT (Sales Lead Team)
  • Ensure the achievement of Category Objectives (Financial & Market) at both brand & customer levels through the formulation & implementation of short & long term business plans for each customer in Australia.
  • Drive the achievement of planned Sales, Margin and CPA targets, ensuring profitable and sustained growth in accordance with business objectives & goals.
To be successful in the role you will ideally have:
  • Experience in FMCG sales roles at Senior NAM level and above, ideally with experience across pharmacy and/or growth customers
  • Proven track record of consistent achievement in sales negotiation, targets & results
  • Ability to develop, sell and implement strategies with/ to the customer.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at different levels of organisations.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate analytical agility
  • Demonstrated leadership of a team and business issues
  • Team based approach to achieving business outcome
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Business/Commerce/Accounting will be well regarded
