About the job

The Canadian Sales Division is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative who will be focused on customers Canada-wide. The Inside Sales team is responsible for acquiring, growing, and retaining customers in numerous industries within the territory in close partnership with the field sales teams. In this role, you will initiate and complete your own sales cycles for deals under a preset threshold while simultaneously collaborating with marketing, business development and other teams to inform a cohesive account strategy. You will position offerings such as Software, Cloud, Education, Consulting Services, Health Checks, and Premium Support Services with an ultimate goal of growing pipeline and achieving revenue targets.

Location: Toronto, or Canada Remote

As an Inside Sales Account Representative, you will:
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and other account stakeholders to develop and execute strategic territory, account and opportunity plans.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with key decision makers in strategic and large enterprises and will be responsible for selling SAS’ full solution set including analytic tools and platform, Marketing, Risk, Fraud and Services.
  • Prepare standard quotations and proposal information as needed; works with other SAS departments to create and finalize contracts and sales fulfillment requirements e.g. sells support documentation and services that compliments existing software license.
  • Work closely with current and prospective customers at director and executive levels to understand their unique company challenges and goals and demonstrate how SAS solutions will help them reach their business goals.
  • Builds and maintains pipeline to achieve revenue goals through various business development including, but not limited to, lead follow up, social selling, prospecting, cold-calling, up-selling and cross-selling activities within an account or territory.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong prospecting skills.
  • Competitive spirt.
  • Ability to develop and deliver a compelling business case driven presentation and proposal.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
  • Proven successful track record of achieving sales quotas.
