Are you up for the challenge of driving operational excellence and supporting our sales team's growth? At Dec-O-Art, we're on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our sales organization, working closely with different departments to ensure operational excellence. You'll dive into sales data, spot trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to maximize our sales team's productivity. As a leader, you'll recruit, train, and motivate our sales representatives, equipping them with the tools and support they need to thrive. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, implement effective sales methodologies, and leverage technology to optimize our sales operations. · Researching and analyzing data to create sales forecasts.

· Collaborating with other departments and upper management to identify business goals.

· Conduct sales visits out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers.

· Recruiting, hiring, and training sales representatives.

· Identifying customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends.

· Creating and managing automation tools to increase sales process efficiency.

· Implementing and manage CRM tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships.

· Strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing sales team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary.

· Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams and collaborating departments and upper management.

· Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies.

· Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities.

· Technology skills to utilize CRM and database software tools in daily tasks.

· Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends to create sales forecasts and track long term sales data.

  • Implement new technologies as needed to support marketing and sales teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between teams and upper management.
  • Follow ethical practices with consumer and customer data.
  • Assist marketing in determining customer outreach methods.
  • Monitor and assist with customer retention.
  • Train staff on innovative technology and software
  • Assist with account management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Accountable for the overall direction, coordinating, and evaluation of sales personnel. Liable for the supervision of non-supervisory personnel. Carries out leadership duties in accordance with company policy, procedures, safety, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assisting, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills. Ability to perform advanced computing functions familiarity with databases and sales software with Microsoft Office including Access and Excel. Leadership abilities to delegate tasks and support sales teams and sales operations specialists.

Written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams, other departments, and upper management. Research, analysis, and critical thinking skills to understand sales and consumer data and create optimized sales processes. Technology skills to use CRM and automation tools in daily processes and function as a point of contact.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant fields, with a master's degree in business being a plus. Courses and majors or minors in subjects such as management, finance, statistics, and marketing may be an asset. Strong skills in work planning and scheduling. Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact. Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of other CRM applications and email strategies.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, production, clients, customers, and employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to printing jobs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Operations

Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record-keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

Planning/Organization

Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Schedule/Hours

Four days at 7.75 or more hours per day

Friday at 7.25 or more hours

38.25 or more hours per week
