Job summary

One of our Leading client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and sales management experience to optimize logistics operations effectively.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee the entire logistics process from order placement to delivery.
Manage data entry tasks related to inventory and shipment tracking.
Collaborate with sales teams to align logistics strategies with sales objectives.
Negotiate contracts and rates with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory levels.
Develop and manage customer relationships to enhance service quality and satisfaction.
Assist in inside sales efforts by providing logistical support to the sales team.
Monitor supply chain performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
Prepare reports on logistics performance for management review.

Requirements

Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
Experience in sales management or account management required
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and service providers.
Familiarity with 3PL operations is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
