Align Wealth Advisors is a lifestyle-based planning firm that works to help clients align their personal values and financial plans. As an independent and boutique planning firm, we help simplify lives through comprehensive, coordinated investment and financial solutions.

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a business development leader who can generate new business opportunities by qualifying leads and identifying viable opportunities. In this role, you will focus on growing the business by increasing our client base using service selling strategies and outreach that includes event marketing and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an effective outside sales strategy that includes cold/warm calling, community outreach, identifying referral sources, event marketing, & following up on social media campaigns.
  • Connect with potential clients using networking, cold calling, emailing, etc.
  • Audience acquisition for educational financial workshops
  • Work with Internal Marketing to develop compelling messaging for social media and email campaigns
  • Conversion and follow up of Internal Marketing and Succession/Acquisition leads

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Preferred
  • 3+ years of proven work experience as a Business Development Specialist, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
  • Ability to qualify and convert leads into clients using cold-calling and warm-calling skills
  • Successful track record in inside sales or cold calling environment preferred.
  • Professional and assertive selling style
  • Must be articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Collaborator – able to work well with other staff members
  • Base salary + commission

Schedule:

· Monday – Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

· Friday (half day): 8:00am - 1:00pm

Other Employment Requirements:

· Three (3) professional references

· Fingerprinting and background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
