We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for our Troy, MI office.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 2-year previous account development, sales or relevant experience preferred.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Prefer prior experience in Integrated Security, Building Automation, IoT and Software Sales.
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work requires travel to current and potential customers. This requires possession of a valid Driver’s License.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional overnight travel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.

What You Are Accountable For:

  • Generate new business and grow existing accounts in all lines of business including service and installation solutions for new and/or existing customers.
  • Develops and implements sales marketing strategies to penetrate multiple markets.
  • Service existing customer accounts, obtain new orders, and establish new customers by planning and organizing a daily work schedule.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results, such as daily calls, customer follow-ups, potential customer cold calls, and important interactions through use of our CRM systems.
  • Extensively network through groups, organizations, and contacts that would have relevance to potential customer acquisitions.
  • Be adept at needs-based selling.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, vendor training and self-administered/motivated training.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
