Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 (Dependent upon Experience)
Are you a skilled problem-solver with a knack for understanding customer needs and translating technical concepts into practical solutions? We are expanding our sales team in Matthews, NC, and we’re looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join our dynamic team!
About the Role
As a Technical Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving the sales process. You’ll engage customers, lead technical evaluations, demonstrate our cutting-edge equipment, and deliver compelling Proof of Value solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to shorten sales cycles and improve close rates.
Conduct discovery meetings, provide demos, and lead technical Proof of Value engagements.
Translate customer challenges into tailored technical solutions.
Partner with engineering to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Develop and maintain strong customer and partner relationships.
Deliver professional presentations and conduct product training.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Travel to meet customers in person as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering.
Experience:
3-5 years in technical sales, application engineering, or the material handling industry.
Proven ability to meet sales goals and close deals.
Experience creating and executing successful sales strategies.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to configure technical solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
Excellent verbal, written, and collaborative communication skills.
Ability to conduct effective training sessions in person and virtually.
Attributes:
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
Knowledge of marketing principles and competitive analysis.
