Medical Sales Consultant

Location: Tulsa, OK, USA

$45k base + unlimited commission

Job Summary:

As a Medical Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in expanding our patient base within the communities we serve. Your primary responsibility is to engage with potential patients, advocate for our healthcare services, and facilitate their enrollment in our medical centers. This role requires a blend of traditional B2C and B2B sales expertise, coupled with strong community engagement skills. While prior experience in healthcare sales or community engagement is beneficial, we welcome individuals with diverse sales backgrounds who are passionate about making a difference in healthcare.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drive new patient enrollment by identifying, nurturing, and securing relationships with potential patients through various channels, including direct-to-consumer and business-to-business outreach.
  • Meet with individuals and groups in community settings to communicate our mission and value proposition.
  • Plan and execute local events to raise awareness and attract our target patient demographic.
  • Foster partnerships with stakeholders such as health plan agents, brokers, and community organizations to position our healthcare services effectively.
  • Collaborate with community relations teams on initiatives to drive patient growth.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure seamless enrollment and assignment of patients to our medical centers.
  • Utilize sales and marketing tools to identify prospects, maintain prospect information, and document sales interactions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.


Travel

  • Limited travel may be required.


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.


Experience

  • Minimum of 2 year of sales or relevant experience required
  • Medicare insurance knowledge is required
  • Familiarity with community engagement or outreach is desirable.
