Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Build potential customer relationships with facilities personnel, building owners and property managers to promote the requirement of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, special hazards and fire extinguisher inspections.
- Build strong working relationships with Inspection & Service Managers, Field Technicians and Administrative Support Team within office – team approach to customer service.
- Establish leads for new customers: Face to face exploratory sales calls, LinkedIn engagement, networking and other marketing related opportunities focused on new customer acquisition.
- Participate in customer presentations, lunch & learns and other relationship-building meetings.
- Perform site surveys (after extensive onboarding), price work using tools provided – resulting in signed contracts from customers.
- Utilize CRM to track sales metrics.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Relationship building, Communication and Time Management Skills Required
- Business development / marketing background a plus
- Outside Sales experience a plus, related to the fire protection field and/or building services & maintenance contracts also a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- High school diploma / GED required; Associate degree preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Office environment with moderate noise level
- May require opening of heavy file cabinets with bending, stooping or kneeling to file.
- May require light lifting of storage boxes, packages to be mailed, etc.
- Will require consistent time spent on the computer and phone throughout the day.
