About the Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and building a team of high performing sales representatives for our B2B and wholesale consumer markets. To be effective in this role, this individual must have strong coaching skills, business acumen, and the ability to maximize sales funnels while removing barriers to success.
Tasks
- Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of products to our customers
- Coach representatives through resolving customer complaints
- Reviewing operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability
- Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures
- Ensure proper use of organizational systems
- Work alongside other business departments on organization-wide change initiatives to improve performance
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales representatives (6+ direct reports) through quarterly SMART goal creation, training and monitoring of daily job tasks, and independently conducting new hire and annual performance reviews.
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services
- Administration and management of employees and direct reports
- Customer service and conflict resolution strategies
- Familiarity with martial arts a plus
