Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Director of Sales is a leadership role, required to supervise and oversee the strategy, planning and execution of the organization’s customer experience and sales departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the customer experience team works in collaboration with all business functions, consistently delivering great end-to-end customer experience across stages, channels and touchpoints in the customer journey
- Enabling a two-way stream with customer facing teams through – collecting feedback to derive meaningful insights for improvements and; guiding teams to ensure a customer-centric attitude while acquiring new customers or dealing with existing customer
- Guiding the marketing, branding and sales team to align with Press Seal strategy
- Encourage problem-solving, strategic thinking and customer-orientation amongst the team
- Communicate with leadership to ensure customer-centricity in their respective departmental work and help them deliver in accordance with the overall customer experience strategy
- Proactively advocating for solution and managing the customer escalation process
- Driving continuous improvement culture
- Recommend improvements to the customer’s experience
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to travel and visit customers and remote sales team
- Travel 40%
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to understand business objectives and align accordingly
- Proficient in Microsoft software
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Interpersonal, networking and influencing skills
- Strategic thinking and foresight
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Five years of outside sales experience
