Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in various locations. This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent customer service abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Proficent in CAT5e and CAT6 Cabling, terminating and crimping.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot mobile devices and software
- Analyze and resolve technical issues reported by clients
- Provide on-site technical support to clients, including hardware and software troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the help desk team to escalate complex issues when necessary
- Conduct training sessions for clients on the use of software and operating systems
- Set up and maintain VPN connections for remote access
- Perform system upgrades and software installations
- Assist with network administration tasks, including user account management and security updates
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
Prefer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in technical support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting methodologies
- Experience with VPN setup and configuration
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
