Opportunity:
The Senior Director of Sales Operations and Data Analytics will act as the primary point of operational leadership for the Partnership Development department, including the Account Management team and the Sales operations team. Our organization has set ambitious three-year strategic priorities, and a key part of delivering on those priorities is growing the number of public high school districts we partner with. This position is expected to lead, monitor and drive the overall scalable operational effectiveness of sales and customer success efforts including leading the Sales Operations team. You will report to the VP, Partnership Development. The salary range for this role is between $122,500 and $140,000 depending on your expertise and experience with similar roles.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise Sales Operations Team to support Sales team and sales cycles
  • Drive overall business insight efforts to assist in closing more opportunities and growing our base of districts and schools
  • Reporting: Report to Vice President of Partnership Development and other organizational leaders on past/current results, net new deals, renewals and expansion forecasts, e.g. through dashboards and presentations. Primarily use Salesforce for reporting, with collaboration to align to other parts of the organization using other reporting tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Analysis: Track touchpoints and key results that lead to successful closing of sales and retention opportunities, along with analyzing lessons-learned from marketing leads and sales efforts that may have mixed results
  • Data Enablement: Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and work of the Sales, Account Management, and Sales operations teams.
  • Risk Management: Detect early signals of at-risk renewals and net new deals, provide reporting to sales team and account management team, supporting escalation as needed
  • Price book: Work with finance and organizational leadership to manage updates and implementation of Pricebook and discount structure
  • Forecasting and Territory management: improve territory management processes by building out departmental data-informed strategies to forecast
  • Business Document ownership: Serve as key point of contact for all business documents being updated annually in concert with internal leadership/external legal review, including quote/proposal, Collaboration Agreement (contract), and terms and conditions
  • Automation: Drive efficiency through automation of routine tasks and relevant client communication
  • Tech Systems: Own and build-out software that facilitates Sales and account management (Salesforce, Tableau, Conga, FormAssembly, event management and others as needed)
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as a member of organization’s Senior Leadership Team
  • Trainings: Provide live training, as well as record and organize training videos and develop department SOPs
  • Teach and enable the usage of reports, dashboards, and data-driven insights for individual contributors, as well as teams and the organization as a whole

Requirements/Skills:

  • Passion for data, client success, and designing processes that scale
  • Sales or Client Success experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Collaborative presence, ready to dig in and help the team
  • Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and think through optimal solutions
  • Ownership over your work and willingness to be hands on with processes
  • Strong listening skills; open to input from other team members and departments
  • Strong experience with CRMs (Salesforce) and applications that integrate with Salesforce; experience with Pardot a plus
