Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and target residential areas that could benefit from solar energy solutions.
- Conduct door-to-door sales to educate homeowners about the benefits of installing solar panels and how these can reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.
- Develop compelling sales presentations tailored to the needs of potential clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the solar industry, including technology advancements and government rebates or incentives that could benefit clients.
- Follow up with leads generated by the marketing team, scheduling and conducting site assessments and consultation meetings.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring that both the client’s expectations and the company's sales targets are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or queries clients might have post-installation.
- Regularly meet sales targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy and goals of the team.
- Record all sales activities and interactions in the CRM system, maintaining clear and comprehensive client records.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales techniques and improve product knowledge.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Consultant or similar role in direct sales environments, preferably in the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Ability to engage and persuade potential customers through excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Motivated self-starter with the drive and resilience needed to succeed in a competitive market.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Professional appearance and persona, representing the company’s brand and values during every customer interaction.
- Fluency in English, with additional languages considered a bonus.
- Must own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license as the job involves considerable local travel.
- Must have outstanding negotiation and closing skills, consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Great communication skills, able to clearly convey product value and understand customer needs.
- Hard-working and committed to achieving both individual and company goals.
- Solid ethical framework for conducting business and representing Solar Pros in the community.
- This is a 1099 position

Pay: $116,556.00 - $400,000.00 per year
