Who We Want
We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with at least 5 years of experience using a consultative business analysis approach to working on long-term cloud-based and on-premise networking to large enterprises like manufacturing, retail, hospitality, long term care as well as the K-12 and higher education verticals.

We are also expecting that you demonstrate that you can work well with the Cloud Managed team and our existing and new clients from the above verticals

Required Skills & Experience

It is essential that you have a proven, measurable track record of working business opportunities by matching Cisco-based solutions with Clients’ needs. Additional consideration will be given if you have Cisco Meraki, Cisco Umbrella, AMP, Cloud Lock, and Cloud Email Security experience. Training will also be provided as needed. Cisco certifications for Account Manager level are also given higher consideration

You excel at positioning managed services. Our solutions typically involve 50% – 70% Services. Managed Services are an important part of our solutions.

You must have minimum Cisco certifications. Specialization certifications in Networking will be an advantage. Proficient technical knowledge on Cisco Cloud Portfolio, Fortinet and Managed Services a definite asset.

Must have strong technical skills in Active Directory, Intermediate Windows Server Administration. Troubleshooting Cisco Meraki issues. Strong knowledge in Wifi, Switching and Firewalls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain network security platforms such as firewalls, SIEM etc.
  • Configure, implement and troubleshoot a variety of Ethernet-based network equipment
  • Assist in deployment, incident and problem management related to local and remote client environments as required
  • Work with vendors to resolve network problems, document network problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Design wireless networks using WiFi planning tools
  • Maintenance, changes, customizations, upgrades, reports, regular meetings for key responsibilities
  • Radius IPS/NPS (maintenance)

Qualifications and Skills

  • College Diploma, University Degree or networking certifications
  • 2+ years relevant experience is a benefit
  • Knowledge of network protocols and services such as TCP-IP, IPSec, and NAT
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
  • A demonstrated ability to work proactively within a team environment, utilizing excellent problem management and change management skills
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and maintaining excellent industry knowledge
  • Wireless network planning tools experience is preferred
  • Extreme Networks certifications is a benefit

You must have an outgoing personality, general business knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, technical self-sufficiency, strong verbal and written communications skills, and an ability to establish relationships with clients.

What You Will Do
You will be required to work with the Sales team to provide solutions for our existing clients as well as new clients.

Cisco Meraki
Cisco Traditional
Cisco AMP
Cisco Cloud Lock
Cisco Cloud Email Security
Cisco Servers
Managed Services

Compensation
