BlueStar is the leading provider of coach charter services in Interior BC. Moving more than 300,000 people a year across Western Canada and US, we transport international tour groups, sports teams, ski groups, conferences, schools and many more. We do everything possible to ensure our customers’ vacation or travel dreams are realized in a safe and seamless way.
We're expanding and looking for high caliber people who can help us grow the business as a Regional Sales Manager. This is a Full Time, Permanent position based at our head office in Kelowna, BC.
The ideal candidate will have a background in travel, tourism or transportation and be ready to take the next steps in their career.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Promote the company to existing and new customers throughout the region.
- Quote transportation services to current clients and respond to inquiries.
- Manage and lead our local and regional social media campaign.
- Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase our services and value proposition effectively.
- Attain budgeted revenue expectations.
- Ensure the provision of excellent customer service.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention levels.
- Exemplify our Company Values and strive towards the Company Mission.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a courteous, professional manner.
Qualification and experience:
- Strong communications ability.
- Excellent closing skills.
- Demonstrates a high degree of organization.
- Good presentation skills.
- Strong team player.
- You think big picture; develop long term plans and execute short term victories.
- You assist in continually striving for a friendly, positive working environment and the highest standard of customer satisfaction.
- Business degree from a recognized University or equivalent experience.
- 5 or more years of experience in a sales capacity.
- Knowledge of the Okanagan region and its key industries, events, and potential clients is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
- Experience of travel, tourism or transportation is an asset.
