ImpactBio has partnered with our client to put together a team of Sales Specialists that will promote their product to Health Care Providers within an assigned geography as well as virtually. We are hiring a National Sales Manager to lead this team as well as promote the Clients product. This is a full-time position with ImpactBio for an experienced life science sales leader with a strong desire to succeed and driven by performance who possesses exceptional leadership, sales and mentoring skills.The National Sales Manager will lead and direct a team of Sales Specialists, ensuring that they are well-trained in product knowledge, sales skills, market conditions, strategy and tactics, corporate policies and procedures, and business planning models. You will also act as the primary customer contact within an assigned territory by educating all key Healthcare Providers (HCPs) about the products' features, benefits, safety profile and other aspects related to the promoted product.

Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure Sales Specialists have direct accountability for their given geography and clearly understand performance expectations.
- Point of contact between the Client and Sales Specialists providing updates to Leadership on ongoing business activities and market trends.
- Establishes time dedicated to field work with the Sales Specialists to focus on reviewing objectives, coaching, and performance management in the office setting, assessing customer and marketplace needs and trends.
- Ensure assigned administrative work of the Sales Specialists (CRM entries, expense reports, etc.) is being completed accurately and on a timely basis.
- Dedicates the necessary time to both retain and build on the foundational product and clinical training.
- Educate all key Healthcare Providers (HCPs) about the products' features, benefits, safety profile and other aspects related to the promoted product.
- Deliver sales performance goals, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. to meet or exceed objectives.
- Create pre-call plan using SMART objectives and execute post-call evaluation to continuously improve sales performance.
- Proactively and continuously aspire to serve customer needs, and to build trusted customer relationships to achieve win-win agreements between Client and customers.
- Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Engage in meetings to increase knowledge, share market insights, understand competitors, identify best practices, and discuss strategies with in-field team members, and brand team.
- Differentiate the product value proposition with healthcare providers assigned and identify, develop and maintain disease state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance.
- Remain compliant with all regulations while carrying out responsibilities, adhering to all company policies.
- Attend any POAs, National Sales Meetings or other meetings as necessary.

- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years Sales experience in healthcare /pharma / life sciences required; management experience strongly preferred
- Documentation of proven track record of successful performance
- Ability to learn, comprehend and apply medical, scientific, and commercial information to drive increased product utilization among assigned customers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and virtually
- Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities
- Advanced business analytical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proactive approach to offering innovative ideas and solutions to maximize business opportunities to address challenges
- Provides impact with ideas for the larger organization and anticipates and responds to changes
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as be a strong team player
- Ability for 20%+ overnight travel
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintenance of an acceptable driving record
