Position Overview:As a Solar Consultant, you’ll be responsible for providing expert guidance to homeowners considering solar. This role involves explaining the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy, conducting home assessments, and creating tailored solar solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy and able to engage clients through in-depth consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct solar consultations with potential customers.
- Preparing documentation, gathering necessary client information, and scheduling client meetings.
- Answering client questions, providing product details, and addressing inquiries to build customer interest in solar energy solutions.
- Coordinate with your Sales Team to help meet sales targets and track progress, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Educate clients on solar technology and answer detailed questions.
- Collect necessary information for custom solar proposals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Proactively engage with local communities and potential clients through direct outreach to generate leads and increase awareness of our solar solutions.
- Develop a strong presence in target neighborhoods, connecting with homeowners and helping them understand the benefits of renewable energy options.
Qualifications:
- Background in sales or customer service; experience in the solar industry is a plus, minimum 1 years experience
- Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex information.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel to client locations.
- Comfortable with technology and using CRM tools.

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
