PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

To ensure that CPL customers' requirements are satisfied in a timely, accurate and professional manner.


SPECIFIC RESONSBILITIES:

  • Responsible for working in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures; properly uses personal protection and safety equipment as required by CPL; reports any injury or illness immediately and notifies CPL of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace.
  • Interact with designated customers regarding inquiries, status of orders, obtaining information impacting on orders/products.
  • Coordinates information flow from customers and internal departments/individuals to ensure that timely responses are communicated effectively and accurately.
  • Develop and foster relationships with key customer contacts to ensure CPL is considered a preferred partner in the present and future.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g. Operations, QC, Planning/Scheduling to gather information impacting on production and product deliveries to customers.
  • Communicate to appropriate departments and individuals, requirements and timelines that must be met to ensure the integrity of each of the schedules.
  • Maintain accurate sales order data (especially the delivery/promise date) within SAP/Data-3.
  • Support/manage packaging component changes, both physical and artwork, to ensure that implementation meets expectations in terms of time and cost.
  • Trace and expedite non-standard orders (e.g. product launches) through the process to ensure all requirements are in place on time.
  • Monitoring the status of orders leading up to production and expediting where necessary.
  • Obtain information regarding specific requirements for the work orders and facilitate timely creation or revision of work orders to coincide with manufacturing and packaging schedules.
  • Evaluate customer purchase orders and forecasts and initiate activities including resolution of slow moving and obsolete materials as appropriate.
  • Coordinate quotation process for all current customer required activities (e.g. stability programs, obsolete inventory or product changes).
  • Contribute to achieve Lean Goals and continuous improvement. Collaborate with peers in commercial operations team to optimize efficiencies and effectiveness within the team.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post secondary education in Business, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent three
  • (3) years experience in the field required.
  • Must have a working knowledge of account management and supply chain management.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills required.
  • Professional and amiable disposition and communication style needed.
  • Excellent follow through skills required.
  • Presentation skills a plus.
  • Microsoft Office application knowledge and proficiency.
  • Demonstrated competencies in CPL's core values of Excellence, Rigor, Ownership, Integrity and Agility.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt, respond quickly and manage change in a fast paced environment.
