WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are seeking a highly ambitious, results-driven leader to effectively manage revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction objectives within the sales operations. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION:
- Hospitality sales and management experience with a demonstrated path of progressive growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
- The desire to lead, develop, and mentor a growing team while ensuring outstanding guest service
- Proven success in prospecting and closing leisure, corporate, and group business
- An understanding and enthusiasm of current tourism industry trends and consumer habits
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Oversees daily operational procedures to drive success for two properties’ sales and revenue objectives
- Manages the solicitation and development of group accounts and sales production
- Implements effective sales techniques and coaching to aid in the growth and success of sales team members and leaders of profit-generating departments in both locations
- Contributes to the Hoteles’s strategic sales plan, ensuring goals are consistently met or exceeded
- Serves as a liaison amongst multiple departments to find creative ways to generate revenue and ensure a seamless, guest-centric experience for visitors and groups
- Ensures pricing/revenue strategies are aligned to and competitive within the company’s strategic vision and area marketplace
- Identifies and develops opportunities for continuous improvement to maximize efficiency, revenue, and guest satisfaction
- Develops and maintains strong professional relationships with area businesses and organizations
- Oversees staff procedures including scheduling, delegating tasks, and ensuring effective communication amongst associates
What is Needed?
- Knowledge of all markets, SMRF, Group, Corporate, Government, etc. and a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Marriott Brand experience preferred
- Managing multiple teams experience preferred.
