We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager (Outside Sales) to service the Sacramento California area.

Grip-Rite® - First introduced in 1975, Grip-Rite is now the top-selling brand of fasteners in America. The company currently provides:

  • Fasteners, nails and screws, nuts and bolts, threaded rod.
  • Collated fasteners designed to fit Grip-Rite tools and many others.
  • Flexible strip collated screw system: collated screws, adaptors and accessories.
  • Tools, compressors, hoses and fittings: complete pneumatic fastening system.
  • Fencing and wire products for both urban and agricultural environments.
  • Concrete accessories: rebar, steel stakes, accessories.
  • Poly products: house-wrap, curing blankets, reinforced poly, tarps, poly sheeting, barrier fence, silt fence, poly fence.
  • Building products: Builder’s hardware, building paper, felt paper.

Essential Functions:

  • Drives vehicle throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to develop business, solicit orders, and service customers’ needs.
  • Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
  • Utilizes SalesForce CRM to maximize effectiveness through scheduling, opportunity pipeline management and customer activity.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Be organized & knowledgeable of current market conditions, campaigns and pricing
  • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Communicates and understands competitive field level pricing across product categories.
  • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
  • Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.
  • Tracks stock levels at customer location.
  • Visits all prospective accounts to validate legitimacy.
  • Coordinates customer training.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts, customer ownership and other critical personnel.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
  • Attends trade shows and customer events.
  • Participates in monthly reviews with the sales manager.
  • Participates in all assigned ride along with both PrimeSource employees and vendors
  • Completes required training. (quizzes, pks, etc.)
  • Records expenses & submits per TE policy.
  • Professional Dress according to PrimeSource dress code policy required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
