Job Description

Are you a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales and sales management?

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director to join our team and drive the growth of clients internal and external retail regional sales team.

This role is integral to achieving desired business results, positively influencing customers, and fostering the continued success of our sales initiatives.


Direct Hire

Position: Regional Sales Director

Salary: $100k-125k plus commission

Base Offices: Fontana California

Education: Four-year college degree preferred

Experience: Ten years of successful outside sales experience, Four to five years of Sales Management experience

Possess comprehensive knowledge of the flooring industry.

Travel: Required


Responsibilities:

  • Motivate, train, and direct Territory Managers to accomplish corporate goals.
  • Implement, motivate, and manage all sales-related corporate programs.
  • Communicate sales programs to internal support teams and external customers.
  • Demonstrate superior knowledge of vinyl flooring, wood flooring, and laminate flooring.
  • Learn and understand company's internal/external procedures to address customer needs.
  • Understand the role company plays in the flooring industry and retail processes.
  • Master the complete sales process, including selling, order processing, claim processing, and problem-solving.
  • Set the pace for achieving corporate goals through positive reinforcement and strategic thinking.
  • Travel monthly with Territory Managers to expand growth and add Key Accounts.
  • Effectively communicate and coach Territory Managers on the selling process.

Requirements:

  • Ten years of successful outside sales experience.
  • Four to five years of Sales Management experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Education Requirement: Four-Year College Degree Preferred
