Job Description
Main tasks:
- Drive sales of company products and services, focusing on AS/RS and subsystems, employing consultative and strategic sales techniques in the B2B sector.
- Research, cultivate, and manage relationships with potential clients and new partners, including identifying decision makers within client organizations.
- Collaborate with partners to explore additional opportunities and expand the client base.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance the company's market position, including identifying and closing business relationships.
- Utilize market and competitor knowledge to articulate the company's unique value propositions.
- Create and present comprehensive systems proposals and technical solutions and provide quotes to customers in coordination with the organization's team.
- Work with the organization’s team during all stages of a project, and support third parties where necessary and reasonable in order to achieve company’s business objectives.
Activities:
- Drive sales of AS/RS and subsystems through strategic B2B sales techniques.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities.
- Responsible for project management of any enhancements and upgrades.
- Work together with the marketing team to investigate networking events and opportunities that drive new business growth.
- Attend industry events to refine unique selling propositions and stay ahead of competitors.
Required Capabilities:
- Proven success in selling large-capital projects (+$10.0M).
- Strong understanding of automated warehouse market in the U.S. (Canada is a plus).
- Existing network with potential target companies (+$1.0B in Revenue).
- Solution oriented and well balanced mix between Strategic Planner and Hunter/Go-Getter mentality, based on situation.
- Understands the cultural and business aspects of European Companies and their standards and requirements.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively within an international sales and engineering team.
- Needs to be a motivated, proactive and self-driven person who can also work effectively alone.
Qualification / Education:
- Degree in Business Administration/ Management – Engineering Degree/ Background is a plus.
- Min. 5 years of experience with AS/RS and automated warehouse systems.
