Job Title: Inside Sales
Location: Fontana, CA
Job Overview:
Manage current House Accounts with periodic email and telephone check-ins to get updated forecasts, identify potential growth opportunities and competitive threats. Vet leads from third parties to determine if field sales call is warranted or potentially develop as House Account. Help sales team with follow-up to leads generated from trade shows to support
Responsibilities:
- Work as a team member in a fast-paced support environment including frequent contact with Vpet Account Managers, Management, and various departments within the VPET Operations network
- Create reports to share information and knowledge as required
- Participate in developing VPET’s Digital Marketing campaign using social platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
- Cold calling from various market segment research directories and/or utilize software to develop new business
- Responsible for Managing a group of smaller volume accounts
- Utilize PipeDrive to log and manage new business prospects
- Completing Quotes as required
- Processing customer samples as required
- Assist Management in developing SOP’s and training material for Internal Sales group
- Back up Department when need arises (Customer Service, Quoting, Training)
- Any other duties assigned by the Inside Sales Manager
Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
- Excellent written, verbal and listening skills.
- Ability to adapt to new process, products and technologies as required.
- Support technical inquiries of both existing and new customers
- Excellent knowledge and experience in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Detail oriented and process driven in order to balance timeliness and quality of service
- Must be tactful, courteous, and possess an ability to motivate others and must enjoy working in a team environment and be willing to contribute to a team’s success
- Ability to calculate pricing, freight rates, sales analysis, etc.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, deadline driven, multi-discipline environment.
- Ability to multi-task, set priorities identifies and addresses problems and meets deadlines.
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner gather and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.
- Ability to remain professional at all times
- Ability to work effectively with a team in a wide array of plant personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
- Detail oriented and process driven in order to balance timeliness and quality of service.
Education/Experience
- Education at the college level, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; Or Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Sales Service role
