Job Description:

Central Iowa Sports is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales operations, including order processing, product fulfillment, creation of UTP (Ultimate Team Products) products, inventory management, crew recruitment, and team/individual product sales. You will work closely with the Photography Operations manager to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Management and Fulfillment:

- Process incoming orders accurately and efficiently.

- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.

2. Creation of UTP Products:

- Utilize systems and software to create unique team photo products.

- Ensure high-quality output and adherence to brand standards.

- Continuously explore opportunities for product innovation and improvement.

3. Collaboration with Photography Operations Manager:

- Work closely with the Photography Operations Manager to set up inventory for photo shoots and events.

- Coordinate logistical aspects of photo shoot setups to ensure smooth operations.

- Collaborate closely with the operations manager for staffing requirements and any other aspects that need addressed.

4. Recruitment of Crew Members:

- Identify staffing needs and actively recruit crew members for events and photo shoots.

- Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and make hiring recommendations.

5. Management of Crew Members on Site:

- Provide guidance and direction to crew members during events and photo shoots.

- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain a positive work environment.

6. Sales to Teams and Individuals:

- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote products to sports teams and individuals.

- Build and maintain relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.

- Attend meetings, events, and conferences to showcase products and generate leads.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the sports industry.

- Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.

- Proficiency in using software and systems for order processing and product creation.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by business needs.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for events.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends only

Travel requirement:

  • Up to 25% travel

Ability to Relocate:

  • Des Moines, IA 50317: Relocate before starting work (Required)
