Director of Sales and Marketing: Sure Flame Products
Haul-All Equipment Ltd. is offering an exciting full-time opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated individual to direct the sales and marketing for Sure Flame Products.
Sure Flame Products, a leading manufacturer of construction heaters in North America, has been designing and building innovative heating solutions for the construction industry for over 60 years. Sure Flame is a division of Haul-All Equipment Ltd., a locally owned family business located in Lethbridge, Alberta
Reporting directly to the Vice President for Sure Flame, the successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of activities:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to strengthen product brands and meet Sure Flame sales objectives.
- Ensure the relevance and effectiveness of Sure Flame’s marketing resources: internet and social media presence, website design and maintenance, printed materials, trade show displays, news releases, videos, etc.
- Initiate, develop, and maintain dealer/dealer network relationships in the Canadian and US markets;
- Provide quotations, negotiate contracts, and process orders.
- Plan, set-up and attend regional, national and international trade shows.
- Demonstrate product lines and provide technical assistance to dealers.
- Supervise a Technical/Inside Sales Coordinator as required.
- Assist in next generation and new product development responding to emerging market needs.
- Explore new market opportunities for existing Sure Flame Products.
Preference will be given to applicants with the following qualifications:
- Post-Secondary degree/diploma in business administration/sales/ marketing;
- 5+ years as a sales/marketing manager or director;
- Ability to initiate and build relationships of trust with customers;
- Willingness to travel (approximately 25%)
- Exceptional negotiation and organizational skills;
- Sales/Marketing experience in the Construction Industry, Rental Industry, and the Oil and Gas Industry;
- Mechanical/technical aptitude with knowledge of construction heaters;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce for example)
- Living in, or able to relocate to, the Lethbridge area.
- Bilingual (English/French) a definite plus, but not required.
