Job Summary
- Use the internet, LinkedIn, website, Yelp, phone, bid boards, and email as means to generate new leads; use leads to generate new business and finalize sales.
- Assist with managing sales department: follow guidance from CEO/CFO and work with sales team to implement new sales strategies and ideas; train and monitor sales representatives on general work duties; work towards meeting sales goals.
- Assist CEO/CFO in business expansion planning and development, filling out forms and attending meetings, meeting clients and contacts of behalf of Sentry, and researching effective long-term strategies for business growth.
- Manages the day-to-day client site relations with assigned customers by communicating with assigned clients on a regular basis, handling any client complaints in a timely manner, and overseeing the managing and disciplinary action of on-site employees at assigned client sites
General Accountabilities
- Working with CEO/CFO in fostering ideas for long-term business development and strategy using research, analysis, and successful example methods.
- Assisting CEO/CFO in compliance, submissions of bids, filling out of business-related applications or forms on behalf of Sentry, and gathering and organization of necessary data to complete these tasks.
- Managing all assigned client sites through communication via phone, email, and in person while keeping constant communication with clients and responding in a timely manner to any client issues.
- Managing Trust Pilot review services to ensure all satisfied clients are contacted to leave a review for Company.
- Generate sales quotes for Company using Company-provided software
- Research competitors and solicit outside quotes as requested by Company; assign duty to Sales Representative(s) to assist as needed.
- Encourage Sales Representatives with positive feedback and assistance with sales calls/outings as directed by CEO/CFO.
- Use various platforms to identify new leads for business; attempt to persuade potential clients to make purchases/sign contracts with Sentry
- Answer telephone and greet callers in courteous manner; answer client questions and relay messages to appropriate departments if necessary.
- Utilize Company provided Smartphone, Tablet, or Laptop to complete assigned tasks such as generating and pursuing leads, finalizing new business, client interactions, and communicating with office staff.
- Complete assigned tasks outside the office as needed such as, but not limited to, new and potential client meetings, current client meetings, and lead generation.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Maintain premises by cleaning doors, windows, walls, coffee machine, and other areas and surfaces to promote a sanitary work environment.
- Assist office staff with administrative tasks and basic office assignments and errands, as work permits.

Physical and Mental Functions
- Sit for up to eight (8) hours a day or more
- Walk or stand for up to eight (8) hours a day if needed for completion of tasks
- Drive (with valid insurance) or use public transit to perform assigned tasks
- Climb stairs, ladders, or ramps during shift
- Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 25 pounds
- Constant use of both hands and arms in reaching/handling/grasping while using phone, notepad, writing, and performing other administrative tasks
- Constant use of eyes (correctable vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers, and view computer monitors; includes hand/eye coordination
- Work or travel in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain, or heat
- Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments
Job Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Licenses/Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must possess effective written, customer service, and oral communication skills in the English language
- Effectual interpersonal skills across all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
- Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures, guidelines, and instructions
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of personnel records and reports
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation
- Remain flexible to ever-changing environments
- Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites;
- Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard
- Neat and professional appearance;
- Read, understand, and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing (correctable to normal level required) in communicating with public/co-workers, giving and receiving instructions, using phones;
- Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment)
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be proficient in basic computer skills
- Must be proficient in Arithmetic
- Desired skills: Algebra I proficiency, Statistics proficiency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
