Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Solar industry, and demonstrate great closing and setting abilities. This role requires a driven and motivated leader.

What you'll do as a Solar Sales Manager:

  • Oversee, train and manage a team of 5 - 10 Solar Energy Consultants.
  • Maintain an individual quota as well as a team quota ensuring that your team is always on track to meet their marks.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of local market and policy dynamics.
  • Provide meaningful hands-on training to new sales team members.
  • Assist the Sales team in closing Sales when needed.
  • Foster a strong team atmosphere based on results and accountability
  • Interview new applicants for your team.
  • Keep track of team members performance and make sure your team is adhering to company policy.
  • Manage team members on PIPs when performance is low.
  • Report to leadership on team KPIs

Your Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the Solar Industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience Managing a Sales team.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent Solar Sales skills with the ability to set appointments and close them.
  • Be self-driven and highly motivated.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of D2D Sales.

Schedule:

  • Full-Time: 40-60 hours per week
  • Tuesday to Saturday

Supplemental pay types:

  • $60,000 Base pay + Commission pay
  • Bonus Incentives

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Sales management: 3 years (Required)
  • D2D Solar: 3 years (Required)
