We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hiring/developing an effective sales team, driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing customer relationships. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, with a focus on team building.
Duties
- Hire and train new representatives to expand our presence in markets throughout the State of Texas.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted markets to drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans that align with business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing our products and services.
Skills
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic planning capabilities that enable effective decision-making based on market analysis and budgets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred not required)
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and strategic planning
- Experience in hiring and training sales staff
- Strong negotiation and project management skills
- Ability to effectively manage customer relationships
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and techniques
