About Us: We are a leading rainware supply company dedicated to providing top-quality products and exceptional service to our customers. Our Wixom branch location plays a crucial role in serving our clients in eastern Michigan and northern Ohio, offering a wide range of rainware solutions for residential and commercial construction projects.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the wholesale building products industry, strong leadership and team management skills, and adeptness in account management. Experience with exterior building products is preferred. This position will work closely with the Branch Manager to oversee all aspects of branch operations, with a primary focus on customer account management, accounts receivable, order processing, onboarding new clients, and managing accounts receivable. This role will also involve leading a team of 5-10 individuals and ensuring smooth warehouse, office, and trucking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts, including processing orders, resolving inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Onboard new customers, providing them with information about our products, services, and account management procedures.
  • Assist customers with quotes on new equipment or large projects.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Support the Branch Manager in overseeing site-wide operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Assist in training and mentoring staff members to uphold our customer service standards and foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, and shipping processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in all aspects of branch operations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Experience selling wholesale construction materials
  • Experience quoting, installing, or selling exterior building products
  • Prior experience managing teams, departments, or business units
  • Prior experience managing recurring customer accounts
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
