**Accounting Manager**
The Accounting Manager will assist the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing financial plans, policies, accounting practices, and maintenance of fiscal records. They will manage the Accounting department and staff, ensuring the preparation of accurate financial reports.

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with five or more years of experience in a law firm setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience interpreting financial statements and performing budget calculations.
- Discretion and proficiency in Aderant Expert or similar legal software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
**Duties:**
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures.
- Supervise and support department operations and staff in Florida and the North East.
- Resolve escalated issues and provide day-to-day support to the CFO.
- Implement new technology or procedures for the department.
**Transactions**
- Monthly: Review and finalize bank reconciliation reports.
- Quarterly: Prepare additional compensation reconciliation and sales/use tax filing.
- Annual: Assist with 1099 form preparation and filing.
- As needed: Assist HR with state tax account management.
