Job Description
BASIC FUNCTION: Create and deliver proposals for clients, while being a resource for clients, account executives and operations teams. Acts as a liaison between the sales team and operations team, as well as providing clients superior customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and process all proposals and associated documents, accurately with all information (required and additional) in internal system(s). Act as main point-person on all proposals, communication and follow-up.
Responsible for sales calls coming into the office, web-generated wish-lists and emails that include but are not limited to: requests for general information, requests for basic proposals, questions concerning services & products offered, and initial follow up.
Assist with the coordination of outbound/inbound orders and all related inter-station communication.
Coordinate with Operations all request for inventory beyond current inventory levels.
Order and track custom items, pillows and logos, including filling out related forms, communicating with outside vendors, tracking the ordering and follow-up and noting these in the internal system.
Build customer relationships through communication. As a customer service oriented company, the companys success depends on the satisfaction of our customers. Therefore, to the best of his/her abilities, must ensure that all customers are completely satisfied with their experience and remain customer-focused while performing his/her duties at all times. She/he must put the customers needs ahead of their own, while demonstrating initiative in their duties and ensuring exceptional customer service. Should determine & make recommendations regarding customer needs, promoting add-on sales of furniture and accessories.
Communicate rental policies to clients and manage client expectations with clear and consistent communication.
Handle confirmation on all shows two weeks or more out. Use immediate and proactive means (email, phone call, social media, in person, engage co-workers, etc.) for jobs less than one week out everything discussed in regular weekly Sales/Ops meeting.
Attend all Sales/Ops weekly meetings and act as the main coordination point to disseminate necessary sales order information to the operations and delivery teams.
Attend networking events at least once per quarter.
Attend client meetings or installs with the direction of AE at least once per month to build direct client interaction.

Salesforce proficiency
EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE: 2 years of previous event planning and/or sales experience.
