Summary
The Residential Maintenance Director is responsible for overseeing the Residential Sales team. This role will assist with initiating new business, nurture existing client relationships, and ensure a smooth transition of clients from Design/Build construction projects to recurring maintenance services.Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Maintenance Division
- Oversee and manage the performance of the Landscape Care Representatives, ensuring they meet client expectations and company standards.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for the sales team
- Achieve sales targets for maintenance contract renewals, new contracts and sales of enhancements to existing clients.

Business Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client base
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies to attract high-end residential clients.

Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage budgets for the Residential Maintenance Division.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure Landscape Care Representatives review and approve work orders timely for invoicing.

Operational Excellence:
- Support operations team with scheduling, planning, and execution of maintenance services to ensure high-quality standards.
- Implement new service lines that complement our current services to expand our service offerings to our clients and optimize growth.
- Coordinate with the design-build department to ensure seamless transitions from project completion to ongoing maintenance.
- Continually assess and update policies and procedures as required to optimize our business and service our clients at the highest level

Vision and Growth:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and communicate the vision for the Residential Maintenance Division.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve the division’s revenue growth targets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and innovations to maintain the company’s competitive edge.
Education
Four-year Business Administration, Horticulture, Landscape Management, or a related program degree or certificate; or four (or more) years related experience and/or training.
Experience
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in landscape maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong effective communication skills.
- Time management skills.
- Knowledge of high-end residential landscape maintenance practices and industry standards.
- Proven track record of successful business development and revenue growth.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, and an insurable driving record.
Other
Physical Demands: Requires extended periods of activity including walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting, up to 100% of a workday. Time in the field may be equal to or more than 50% of time.
Work Environment: Exposed to exterior elements (i.e., pollen, chemicals, cold and heat etc.). External environment with all weather and terrain exposure. Travel to client sites and company locations as needed. Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, to meet client and business needs.
