Job Title: Inside Sales Specialist
Department: Marketing

SUMMARY
In this role, the Inside Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with members of the Marketing, Sales, and Managed Care teams to create leads and sales through the sharing of educational information, promotion of our products, and creating awareness for our various campaigns to healthcare professionals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Deliver quality education and sales engagements to healthcare professionals through interactions via telephone and email follow-ups
- Build B2B relationships to support the organization’s educational, product, and program offerings
- Internal collaboration efforts will include interaction with Marketing, Sales, and Managed Care teams to ensure positive outcomes
- Responsible for accurate and timely submission of all reports including activity reports, insights from discussions, and other required administrative documentation
- Track each interaction using available Salesforce and other CRM tools, noting next steps and future follow-up dates
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in collaboration with the field sales team and leaders
- Attainment of Management by Objective (MBO) goals along with KPIs as defined by the organization’s senior management
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce), database management systems and common sales tools/methods is preferred
- Proven ability for inside selling, cross-selling, and up-selling
- Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills
- Strong phone presence that balances the consultation that is critical to this role with the ability to sell
- “Team-Player” mentality: ability to interface with multiple disciplines from both an internal and external perspective.
- Excellent communication skills: well-spoken and persuasive, with the ability to converse with a broad range of healthcare professional clients with a positive attitude toward the organization and product.
- Advanced presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field or a combination of education and relevant work experience
- Inside sales or sales experience in healthcare preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in written format including call log details, follow-up email communications, and other reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
